The key in being successful against Vasyl Lomachenko and other Eastern European bloc style fighters like: Golovkin and Kovalev is by getting physical with them. A fighter must being willing to tie up and fight them on the inside, while walking them down and backing them up in the process; As none of them can fight well on the inside or off the back foot.

Vasyl mostly fights off the front foot. The only opponent he has challenged who was able to consistently tie up and fight him on the inside, while walking him down and backing him up in the process was Orlando Salido and he lost that bout. Salido defeated him in part, because that is his only Achilles heel and weakness.
