Unbelievable myth that he didn't do well against southpaws. Really it started with his father hesitant to put Floyd in with Stevie Johnston. But no, he didn't struggle with southpaws. Guerrero was able to win rounds? Oh yeah, aside from the first few rounds where Floyd naturally starts out a bit slow, what did he do? He completely nullified Guerrero the rest of the fight and made him look dumb. Judah won two to three of the first four rounds and then proceeded to get beat pillar to post. Pacman? What he win? Two rounds? Three rounds? Corley was able to rock Floyd early, but then proceeded to get a beat down himself. Where are all these "struggles" that you mention?
Hard to say Loma's style is all wrong for him as he never faced someone like him and vice versa. I can easily just say Floyd's style is all wrong for Loma. End of the day, Floyd would have the big size advantage and he would be able to control Lomachenko with his jab and would match him with his reflexes. Floyd beats Lomachenko at 130 fairly clearly. Now Crawford on the other hand gives Floyd more fits no doubt.
