LOL why does a unification make more sense 11 months from now vs them fighting in 3 months? People like the idea of this fight now. It'd be a fun fight now. Loma is fighting nobodies. He CLEARLY needs some legit opponents. Why would anyone wanna have him wait 11 more months to get one??????

Some of this sh^t fans & promoters come up with makes ZERO sense to me. And okay whatever Loma fights 2 dummies between now & July 2018. Are people gonna suddenly care more for that fight then vs now after Loma has beaten 2 more guys no one knows or gives a f#ck about? I say no.

I say strike when the iron is hot & build off of wins over the big fights you can make today.

Arum will not let Loma fight Garcia in his next bout. Arum wants Loma to have at least fight at 135 before the Garcia clash. Lets say Loma vs Beltran in December and then Loma vs Garcia in spring (April/May).

Yea like I said promoters & even some fans got no clue (or maybe don't even care) what people wanna see these days. No one gives a f#ck about Loma vs Beltran except TR fanboys (Beltran damn near lost last night to a feather fisted Costa Rican who hadn't fought in a year & isn't even the best fighter in his own house so Beltran isn't getting nowhere vs Loma).

But yea I understand Mikey vs Loma is unlikely to happen in general anytime soon, if ever, cuz of the TR vs Mikey issues beyond any other thing Arum wants or doesn't want.

Personally I don't give a f#ck about any of that stuff doe. I just hate seeing a guy like Loma wasting years of his career on fighting these guys like last night vs the guys that'll make him an actual real name + draw in boxing. And beyond that I just wanna see good fights among top guys whoever were to win with Loma vs Mikey (I favor Loma, but I don't think its a lock or an easy win or anything) or any other top guy matchup.

Hopefully it's Mikey and Linares (or Omar Figueroa Jr.) next! I think that will tell us how big a draw Mikey Garcia is! If Mikey can draw huge crowd to Staples, or the Alamodome, then he can start thinking about a PPV. Same with Lomachenko. I hope he fights Rigondeaux next! If he could draw a big crowd to Barclay's or MSG, maybe then he could start thinking about a PPV fight. However, although both fighters are great, neither have proven they can go to the level of a Mayweather, Cotto, or Pacquiao! Mikey might be another Andre Ward, and Lomachenko could be another Sergio Martinez! Time will tell!

Hell no!!!! Neither guy is a big draw. Mikey vs Broner wasnt a ppv. And Broner is a bigger draw then either guy.

No fan with a f#cking brain wants to wait a year to see a fight. Fight now on ESPN. It'll be HUGE. It'll boost up the Top Rank ESPN product with a fight like this. And if its that f#cking good they'll build up each other & the rematch can be on PPV.

This fight would do 200k/max right now & it'd do maybe 250k-300k/max in a year. I mean does anyone really give a f#ck about that extra $3.5M a year from now they could make off that extra 100k buys???? I suggest they shouldn't cuz they could be fighting on ESPN later this year to 4M-5M fans & if Loma walks away the winner maybe he can flip to a PPV in his next fight to some 300k+ buy type number off of all the fans he gained from this fun fight that people got to see for free.
              Exactly!

As "Boxing Logic" pointed out in his ow excellent post, this is starting to look like a duck from Garcia, however there's also the factor of whether Arum would let that fight go ahead without options.

If he is as high on Loma as he says he is, then maybe.

I agree with Lomo's manager here, not a PPV fight, also, Garcia is really disrespecting Crawford, I bet you 10 bucks Arum would put Crawford in against Garcia before Lomo, and that's if he even wants Garcia to earn money on his tip, Arum might still be salty about that contract situation.

You can't complain about Mikey's opposition without attacking Lomachenko's. Mikey's resume is better and he's looked far better overall against them. Double standards are funny that way. Perhaps this is false bravado to make it look like you want the fight. Its not working.

Funny how you complain about Garcia "cherrypicking" guys like Broner and D. Garcia, both of which are better than any of Lomachenko's opponents. The funny thing is you give Garcia more credit than Lomachenko without even realizing it. These are considered cherrypicks by Garcia but you are perfectly content with Lomachenko's opposition. Thank you for admitting who you think is better.
He's a fake ***. Marriaga went up in weight got man handled his last fight EVERY round was TKO'd by I QUIT Walters....

A duck by Garcia?!?!? How is ANY fighter ducking here LMFAO? If Garcia didn't wanna fight Loma he'd not be showing up at sh^t Loma is at. Ducking lol. Some cats here are so f#cking ****** with this ducking nonsense.

If anyone is ducking here its f#cking Top Rank cuz TR gots beef with Mikey so they don't wanna see him get paid &/or work with him & they probably don't wanna risk losing value with their company in the event Mikey beats Loma. Mikey & Loma would fight each other in 6-8 weeks from today if left to their own devices. Its these f#cking promoters who f#ck up sh^t more than fighters.
