That fight is a pipe dream for some of you casuals because you're clueless and that's putting it very very lightly...

How many times do we have to repeat this?
I was even surprised Arum took interest when he heard about the scuffle
between Loma and Rigo on social media, which the Cuban started.
Loma and Arum basically called his bluff accepting the terms Rigo and his team THEY THEMSELVES dictated.
As expected, Rigo's camp started demanding more money PLUS a change in their initial weight terms.

Some crumbs that was left from that silly saga.

(We need a sticky for this.)
Not picking sides here but you should know Arum has shown time and time again he lies. A LOT. Mikey came out and exposed him about that Gamboa situation. One of his things is with fighters that aren't with him anymore he says they priced themselves out.

You gotta be an idiot who keeps on dealing with a guy who lies a lot.
Gamboa have moved on. Chavez Jr have move on. Ex Arum fighters.
Rigo and Mickey needs to move on also and fight non TR fighters.
There's Davis whose promoter is on friendly terms with the Cuban.
There's Easter Jr for Mickey. There's Figueroa, Gift, Thurman, etc.
Stop this silly nonsense of only believing what you want to believe.
Tell them to move on and stop asking money from their daddy Bobfather.

Exactly. Making your fighter sign a re-up deal to get a shot at another one of your fighters shows all we need to know about Arums promotional mentality.
I don't expect him to do things against his own business interest but, to put stock in anything he says and not take his own vested interest in account-- is casual fan behavior.

Rigo ducked the fight at 126 when it was offered to him, about 2 years ago.

Either he negotiates on the money and is reasonable, or he doesn't get the fight.
