The only thing a better opponent will do is bring out the best of Lomachenko. Take the unanimous beating he put on Gary Russell Jr. You would've thought he was a seasoned pro. The skillset is real, just needs a better opponent.

I like Rigo more than Loma... But I guess that ship has already sailed -- when Rigo ducked at 126...

The thing about this fight is that Rigo needs to be perfect due to the size discrepancy. One mistake and it's over. And with Loma's incessant pressure and quick counter-punching reflexes, I don't think Rigo can do it. If Donaire could put him down, Loma will put him out

Rigo too little for Loma. Loma would tee off on the smaller man and make him quit. Loma has quicker reflexes and beats him to the punch plus the body shots would do the job.Never seen Rigo get hit with too many clean body shots because of his great foot work.

Listen to what you just wrote. The one mistake is if loma is the one that makes it cuz Rigondeaux is the one who would capitalize on it. Loma don't have one punch power like lil g, loma has to pound on you to hurt you but Rigondeaux can take you down with one shot.

Then let's see the best of loma & have him fight Rigondeaux.

Rigo is way too small. It's not even a competitive fight..
