Cong**** To Loma For...

You need to stop responding like an emo schoolgirl and read what I am actually saying. Where did I say he was P4P #1? I didn't because clearly Loma isn't. My point is you could make a valid argument for him not being on the list at all.
Neither Ricky or Yuryorkis were nobodies coming up in weight like Loma's latest fight. And Bud also has Postol, Beltran, and John Molina on his resume.
Mikey has a win over the guy who beat Loma and did it a year earlier in dominant fashion. Mikey has a win over Roman Martinez BEFORE Martinez was damaged by two wars with the same Salido. And Mikey went UP in weight to fight A bigger man in Broner, something Loma has been talking about doing yet has found a way not to despite an abundance of willing opponents at 135.
Right now, because he really hasn't beat elite competition, HE IS OVERRATED AND MORE HYPE THAN FACT.
Hopefully, he will fight top guys and change that.
You call it hating...I call it THE TRUTH, something you clearly have a problem with.Just stop hating on the dude and appreciate his skills.
The main thing about you is YOU'RE HATER NOT A BOXING FAN, look at your avy, hating on a fighter.
This thread, again discrediting a fighter.
Can you post something positive for once or your life is just that shtty??
Pretty much everyone else on the P4P top ten (and maybe a little more) has a better victory over a more elite opponent than Vasyl. Even so I have him in my personal top 10 because HE DOES pass the eye test...with flying colors and then some.
But, I aint no HBO pitch man. I am a boxing afficionado who does his best to see things clearly and objectively.
My problem with Loma is that he CAN fight better opponents yet has found a way not to. My problem with Loma is that so many are crowning him as this ATG while the truth is he hasn't done very much extraordinary for a 29 year old fighter. He has 400 amateur fights, and that many bouts are the experience equivalent of 20 to 30 pro fights. And no one likes to talk about the 6 pro fights he had in THE WSB, fights Loma was paid for that were without shirts or headgear.
When looked at thru an honest perspective, what is so special about a guy near 30 whose best wins (and only good wins)are 2 neverwas types (Russell and Walters). What is so special about a guy who clearly lost to a crude fighter like Salido and has not tried his best to avenge that loss. Didn't folks ride Khan for years for not finding a way to get back in with Prescott? Why are we just assuming Loma is past Siri?
As for my avy, it is funny as hell and it is true if you subtract Jacobs, Murray, and one or two others from Lil g's resume. It is ironic you mention Lil g because it looks like Loma is adopting the same career strategy of running away from greatness.
To conclude, I don't "Hate" fighters. I respect any man who has the nerve to climb thru those ropes. But, I will call out BS where I see it. With Loma, there is plenty of BS to talk about, along with the obvious brilliance.Comment

Yes, you're hater, because once he fought a tune up and you use it to call him a bum beater wich is not the case.
He fought 3 world champ in a row, Walters, Sosa, Martinez.
Stopped all of them.
GGG and Loma have tow totally different careers.
They only have in common that you dislike them for some obvious reasons.Comment

They are staying away from Mikey? Damn, last time I checked the fight is being built up full speed ahead captain. WTF are you on about?
Garcia vs Loma is happening.Comment

LOL how true eh?Hang on - you're calling out Loma for fighting an undersized guy, then in the same sentence claim that he's being kept away from Garcia, who last fought at 10lbs heavier than Loma? Well then what the **** would Garcia be doing?
**** me sideways, people aren't even trying to hide their ******ity these days.
You're an idiot - try again.Comment

I think fans suck with talent assessment as per usual. It seems like if a guy is less than top 3 P4P he sucks & is on the verge of being exposed lol. Its amazing so many people think there are so few talented boxers yet love this sport.
So I couldn't disagree with you more about Loma being some hyped up type guy while fully agreeing TR isn't putting him in as tough as they should be.
Loma is a highly skilled guy who can compete with the best guys out there. And personally I'd rather see a bunch of fun fights vs top guys & Loma retire with a 13-5 record then he spend the next five years or whatever fighting opponents like the last guy & a few of his other title defenses & retire at 18-2.Comment

As I explained elsewhere, Mikey is 135 lber WHO WENT UP.
A fight with Mikey is not an overwhelming size advantage, but it would be an advantage. Great fighters overcome things like that- kinda like what Mikey did last week against Broner.
That, and it isnt only about Loma fighting smaller guys...it's about him fighting very ordinary smaller guys.Comment

The Salido fight was close. You could see in that fight that Lomachenko's immaturity as a pro boxer against a veteran like Salido was showing. And he did try to rematch Salido. What do you think this fight was supposed to be?Comment

Well his days of exhibition fights are over if not already numbered I would say.Loma is a highly skilled guy who can compete with the best guys out there. And personally I'd rather see a bunch of fun fights vs top guys & Loma retire with a 13-5 record then he spend the next five years or whatever fighting opponents like the last guy & a few of his other title defenses & retire at 18-2.
People will tune in for a one sided beating here and there but will not continue to do so. So I think that is why they are trying to go after Mikey now knowing they could get him in a fight or two.
I don't know how ESPN will spin last nights fight, it was an easy one to make a highlight reel of and perhaps some casuals watching sportscenter will go "oh, I'll watch this guy" maybe go google him watch some youtube videos and get guys to tune in.
But they continue you giving him guys will outclass it won't last and people will stop giving a ****.Comment
