What I hate about ESPN is the terrible program scheduling. Your recording starts, and often you're getting something like little league baseball or soccer. The actual boxing show starts well after the recording starts.
When I add an extra 30 minutes of recording time to HBO, SHO, Fox Sports, etc. It's usually enough. More than enough actually. On HBO, I can also catch the 24/7 show that follows, before the recording ends.
If they know there's going to be a potential schedule conflict, put the show on one of their other sister channels...an extra 30 minutes on the record, and I still missed half of the Lomo fight.Comment

The best thing ESPN can do is get rid of Atlas it's almost as bad as trying to watch HBO with Lampley.. Lomo dominated totally but one thing I would like to see changed, and the WBC does this, when Lomo was cut, looked intentional but Reis the ref did nothing, the uncut fighter is penalized one point for an unintentional butt, sounds like a good rule to me...Comment

Solid performance, well, it was actually a good performance but I'm so used to better from Loma that I find myself less than thrilled now. It was a good performance. I don't know what was up with the showboating though. I recall a reporter asked him if he'll do anything during the fight because it's entertaining and I think maybe he thinks people like it....it's not not true, bc when he did it to Sosa and Walters it WAS entertaining bc it wasn't forced. With Marriaga it just seemed unnecessary.
SRL did it, Roy Jones did it, Calzaghe (memorably with Roy Jones, so it can come around too). Loma's just following a blueprint to get noticed beyond his boxing skills. Like it or hate it - it works (witness getting on for 600 entries in this thread alone - he's getting attention somehow).Comment

Once again Lomachenko being a dirty fighter, ever since Walters I been keeping tabs on him breaking the rules : here he steps on Marraiga left foot on purpose because like I have noticed that whenever you touch Chenko especially to the head ( as you can see in this gif ) it triggers him to unsportsmanlike conduct in the ring ; notice how wide he steps over to his right ready to trip Marriaga after stepping on him -- you would think he back off a little bit and acknowledge his mistake but nope.
Now I know hes a south paw but, they do this on purpose often to interrupt the opponents natural rhythm and break the concentration.
you feel the same way about marquez stepping on manny's foot in each of their fights?
