Is Paulie selling a story for Connor?
What if Paulie is baiting people by saying Connor gets hurt when he's ****** to the body and that he whopped him in sparring. What if Paulie knows that Connor is looking great and he doesn't want to give mayweather any ideas. By making it sound like Connor is sloppy will give Floyds team more confidence. This could all be a smokescreen and on fight night we see a world class athlete give Floyd a real test.

yall give people to much credit. paulie is a slave to his ego and has no pride or integrity that is a bad combination to have but easy to predict. You embarrass him he gonna lash out uncontrollably and get payback anyway he can thats why he running to everyone telling him he beat up conor in sparring.Comment

Connors team might be paying off Paulie to make him look stronger than Connor by blabbing about how he hurt him when the truth is connor went beastmode on him.Comment

Paulie is a showtime employee, therefor has more affiliation with Floyd. Pretty sure he gets along with Floyd quite well too, so I don't think he's selling a story for Conor.
If he's selling anything, it might be on behalf of everyone involved and everyone was in on this whole picture story was just to add more drama and keep people talking.
It's a strange one because he's a Showtime employee, i'm sure they won't be too happy with him saying Conor is really no good etc. Unless they feel people are gonna buy it regardless, so this is just added drama.Comment

Why else would a guy that works for showtime sandbag one of the fighters which could hurt sales unless he's on the take and Connor is his sugar daddy now.
It makes no sense for Paulie to say Connor sucks which might turn off viewers I.e lose ppv sales for his employer.Comment
