He needs a new promoter. Somebody needs to send him a memo and tell him in order to get mainstream exposure and publicity you have to remain active, then hopefully the boxing public will begin to notice you.

Attempting to piggyback off someone else's name and only fighting once a year is not going to get the job done. Make a name for yourself by securing television dates and fighting as regularly as possible.

Turning down fights with Lara and the Charlo boys were very bad career business moves. A victory over any of those names could have helped propelled his career to star status.

He could have been in the conversations among the elites in the sport of boxing. Now he is just an irrelevant third or fourth tier fighter who hardly anyone mentions anymore.

Don't get me wrong homie has mad skills. They ALL do at this stage of the game.... Most of us on this site have boxed one time or another. We just were never good enough or stood out enough. My WW class was STACKED on top of STACKED good boxers. These guys are the best of the best.

I've also seen bad management destroy boxers like Boone, Gamboa, 1000's other.

Most boxers are taken advantage of by sleaze bag promoters and greedy managers who do little to help the fighter. Sad most of these kids end up broke with lost opportunities and few memories.

Yup. And those are the LUCKY ones. The unlucky ones usually have some serious medical issues that make football concusions seem mild. They don't have helmets helping them out. Sht I've seen some shady places were they drag you out of the ring and leave you in the alley to die...

yep, While floyd made his millions there are thousands who get paid little and are used and abused in boxing. What a cruel sport filled with leeches and greedy people who use these kids and discard them like old rags.

Idiot this is the hurt business, if these boxers don't want to fight for reasonable amount of money then they need to find another profession. It's like telling a new bee keeper you are never gonna get stung. Boxers know the risk involved when they made their job boxing
