Kneeguel as many people on this site have been calling him for years is a true warrior. Who else would of lasted as long as he did getting beat up with a cast? He fought everybody on the block and yea he did have some cherry picks same as other great fighters. He was never in a boring fight and who knows how his career would of been if not for the beating he took in that Margarito 1. That fight definitely shorted his career but when its all set and done 4 weight division champ and hofmer. He should have a final fight as a passing of the torch with one of the top 154 or 160 pounder. Ill with miss this guy when hes gone.

Dang, sounds like he may even be ready to retire after the Kamegai fight.

Team Cotto and Golden Boy better be looking good for a few options for his next fight which will be his last. There is a short turn around from the end of August to the beginning of December. They need to get a big name or decent name for his farewell fight.

Man, the year is closing in and lots of our sports best are leaving. When this year ends it will be memorable for the great fights we've had, the dawning of a new era and the end of a great era.

If Cotto gets Kamegai im very interested to see who Golden Boy Promotions puts him in there with.

It will be a high profile fight and a good final payday for him.

I think Brook, Khan if he stays at 154 if he can move up weight Lemeiux, Saunders, or Hall of Famer who's career got sabatoged by Margaritos cheating A$$!!!!

Probably for the best. He wants a lot of money and to get it, he'd probably have to take another L.

He had a good career and financially did very well so no shame in leaving.

Glad this diva is done at the end of the year. He is such a sore loser and a big time crybaby. Hope he loses so he can storm out of the ring one last time.
