Yes it does matter. At those weights size DEFINITELY matters. HW is a different story. Paulie wasn't an authoritative champ. How many times did he defend his titles and who against? Defended both titles a total of 3 times against nobody of note. One of the guys he defended against was the guy he won the title from in the first place and he barely kept it!

McGregor is a top p4p ufc fighter. He should have been able to kick an out of shape fat 36 year olds ass bottom line.

this right here. conor said in an interview that paulie is there strictly for sparring only. paulie got all big headed and started thinking he's there to give conor pointer and a game plan on what to do against floyd lol.

Totally agree that was Conor's objective, but shows how off his focus is for this fight.

And now he's lost the one guy in his camp that had professional boxing experience? What records do his trainers have? 0-0 all round? If it's not that it must be close.
