Seems fair enough to me instead of trying to rush it for October/November! Wilder still need to challenge himself though! He needs to take care of Stivernie, just get that out of the way and stop stalling that **** rematch. After Stivernie then either try to pursue Unification with the winner of Parker vs Fury, if he can't get that then head down to the UK and destroy Whyte then call out AJ Properly. That shouldn't be a problem at all!

Wilder should still try to make the Ortiz fight though! That is a fight he NEEDS to not only send a message but to really get the ball rolling on AJ vs Wilder because lets be honest that is not as big of a fight it could be right now mostly because Wilder popularity is not growing and reason why is because he lacks that big fight.

Not buying the BS of "NOBODY WANTS TO FIGHT WILDER", nobody is going to come and fight Wilder for just a few 100K and I don't blame them! If the plan is really to make Wilder a star then Haymon or whoever need to invest in him and pay his opponents big money to come and fight just like Hearn does for AJ!

I've given Wilder a lot of **** in the past but the way things have played out recently, he's right. It's time to make this fight.

It's the perfect way to end the boxing calendar for the year. It would cap off the greatest single year of competition in the sport since probably the 90s.

It would sell over 1 million in the UK and would threaten 1 million in the US too with the way boxing has been covered recently by the media (Especially ESPN). People give Floyd a lot of **** but his little stunt with Conor has people talking about boxing again. On the back end of Canelo v. GGG, this fight has the potential to usher the sport into a new era. That would make 4 PPV fights this year of 1 million plus buys. It could be a special moment.

Wilder's mouth and his hand out belt are keeping him relevant. Not anything he does in the ring

That means Joshua vs Wilder will take place in 2020.

Don't most organizations allow unification fights to trump mandatories? I know that's the IBF's policy.

I can't wait to see how Wilder deals with one of AJ's offensive onslaughts.

Hearn is right. The IBF was only going to make an exception for the rematch. Deontay tried the old Andre Ward trick that we've seen so many PBC fighters use. Call out an opponent when they know the fight can't be made. I'm sure Michael Grant is available for a Wilder fight.

I guess next reply will be to see if wba pulls the belt and gives it to Ortiz. If they do and give it to Ortiz straight up we can get an Ortiz Wilder unification and skip Wilder's awful mandatory.
