I always knew Joshua wasn't the image he represented simply because when you grow up in the streets, no one is innocent and people who attempt to hide it the most are the least innocent. Yeah, there was nothing incriminating there in that message but there must be something to it. Judging by Khan's video confirming it was all real, i can't see him just throwing Joshua's name out there without good reason but who knows.

Plus the photo of their chat seems to show Joshua sent the first message of that conversation, so it wasn't her instigating that chat. Plus it seems she had already told him previously she's off to London. It might just be about something bland though as you say. It just seems Khan has been quite open and honest about it all, so maybe there's no smoke without fire in terms of the AJ thing.
