Yeah, Lomachenko is ducking this guy hard I mean not like Mikey didn't have a fight signed in July two weight classes from him and Lomachenko has been at 130 for 1 year only. Blatant ducking.

You children need to be patient. Seems like unless a fighter fights 10-12 times a year and in 5-6 weight divisions he's ducking multiple fighters.

I'll trust Lomachenko who in is 2nd pro fight fought a veteran of 50 fights with a big weight advantage, fought an undefeated top guy in Russell in his third fight (many picked Russell), fought a champion in his 7th fight and then the feared Walters in his 8th fight (again, people here were writing Loma's obituary). His entire pro career his opponents have the highest win % of modern era and 50% of his pro fights have been vs. champs, 90% of his pro fights are title fights. I'll trust that guy when he says he's down for a fight over a few childish dweebs on a message board that are on that "my fighter is better than your's" and "all white fighters suck" stuff.

Is Mikey tied to a contract with Showtime or is he just drawing a hard line? I thought he was a free agent? If he does have a contract with them why is he calling out Top Rank guys?

Is Lomachenko doing the same thing? I knew HBO was binding guys to contracts but is ESPN doing the same thing?

Why are people Bashing Loma?? We all know Arum calls the shots. If it doesn't make money for him, It doesn't make sense. If anything Mikey is the one ducking here. Mikey is currently a Free agent, which means he's free to fight anyone and most likely works with showtime on a fight-to-fight basis. Loma on the other hand is signed to Top Rank, Who has a contract with ESPN. Mikey being a free agent could EASILY come over to ESPN to make the fight a reality, but he demands Loma comes to Showtime, KNOWING Loma can't.

BTW, Why not make this a PPV Fight?? I say it gets around 250-300k Buys. That, plus gate and endorsements, total revenue could be around $18-20 mil, which is more than enough for both fighters, and Arum greedy a$$.

Gary Russell Jr was undefeated and the ESPN prospect of the year, Walters was also undefeated. I don't like this Marriaga fight either but you would be hard pressed to find another 10 fight boxer with a better resume and a couple of championships in 2 divisions. Peace.
