Really? I must have missed that. Have you got a link?. Hmm well who knows. Personally I'd love to see AJ vs Ortiz.. That's the best fight that can be made since Wilder has Stivern and J Prince issues.

I'm thinking no later than November or so next year for these two to fight. They can start building it up now so that by the time they fight it will be a Super Mega Event.
This fight will most like happen in the UK in the Summer 2018 as Wembley is not available in November due to cold weather.

Hearn and Joshua were cornered and not even thinking about Ortiz, but now he's on the menu with Pulev. Joshua can fight Pulev and Wilder can fight Ortiz and then unify. Nobody gives a **** about Stiverne since he missed a test. It won't happen because Hearn and Joshua are straight *****es.

http://www.boxingscene.com/anthony-j...by-wba--119144 The claim is coming from team Ortiz though so I don't know how it will pan out but it sounds like legal action will take place if AJ tries to fight anyone other than Ortiz. We could have team Ortiz, team Pulev & team Stiverne all in legal battles to get their shots. What a mess....

That sounds good, or they can have it in Las Vegas.

They need to build it up though. With all of the big fights that happened this year. Joshua-Wilder should be "THE EVENT" for 2018.

2018 can belong to Joshua and Wilder, they need to build it up though to get the fans worldwide waiting on the edge of their seat for it.

I already read this article before. It's nothing concrete that's just the way sanctioning bodies are supposed to work but they don't follow thier own rules.

Unifications are supposed take precedence over mandatories but as we've seen with Parker he wasn't allowed to unify before fighting his mando and IBF won't allow unification before Pulev is given a shot. These belt organisation are the most corrupt part of boxing.

Wilder needs to get a grip on the reality of boxing right now. I understand these callouts are all a PR move, but anyone who knows a shred about the current state of the Heavyweight division, knows that AJ has the IBF and WBA mess to clear up. He can sit there jawing off as much as he wants, it isn't going to do ****.

If his camp TRULY thinks they can bypass existing obligations, lay out a plan. Actually put a ****ing plan out there - contact the IBF, contact the WBA, get something from them to make this unification happen. Instead, it's just endless ****ing yap yap yap about the same **** on YouTube or wherever he's dumping this garbage.

Less talking, more action. I don't hear anything about Haymon having discussions with the IBF or WBA to put a plan in place. It's not ****ing rocket science, pick up the damn phone and lay it out. If the IBF and WBA don't comply, tell the world about it - back your **** up.

I might as well sit here and tell AJ to come and fight me, it'll mean as much as what Wilder is doing.

Anyway, doesn't he have some big announcement that's weeks overdue? Or was that more hot air?

I would believe that if a statement from the sanctioning bodies was made about it. But it's coming from Team Ortiz so I don't know how much weight that carries.

Joshua has had the WBA belt only since April, he's had the IBF since April 2016. So we'll see how this plays out.

I have a hunch if push comes to shove they are going to drop the WBA belt and go for a fight against Wilder after Pulev. After a unification with Wilder if AJ is victorious then I think he'll go for Ortiz.

Just my opinion though, things can turn out a lot differently. But we'll see how this alphabet soup mess plays out. SMH

Yea there is no way they make this fight in November.. It will (it better) happen in 2018. Its a huge fight and boxing is a business.. Hearn is a great businessman so he will maximise the potential from this fight.

That's why Hearn was taking AJ vs Vlad to the US. Even AJ said it in an interview yesterday that fighting Vlad in the US will make the Wilder fight bigger. If it was anything like the first fight it could have made AJ a star in the US maybe even a PPV star.

At the moment I don't think it happens in the US as it's not PPV there yet but if built right.. I agree 2018 is the year of Wilder and AJ.

Lol, good stuff man. I'm just hoping they both can get it on some time next year.
2018 can belong to Joshua and Wilder. They just need to build this up now and by the middle or end of next year this fight can be "THE EVENT"

The next big Superfight, this can be it!
