GGG has other plans.

GGG had waited years to get to where he is. Charlo is just arriving. GGG will best Canelo, take out Suanders, and then it's possibly a Jacobs rematch, or move to 168.

After years of saying ggg hasn't earned his spot, now guys think he should fight Charlo because Charlo beat a one legged Heiland.

Charlo needs to up his profile. He brings no real money to the table. It will help him in the pursuit of a big fight to take on and defeat a well known fighter at 160. Jacobs and Lemieux fit that bill. Jacobs is the easier fight to make, Lemieux is probably the most entertaining bout.

Would like to see him take 1 More Fight vs a contender at 160 before fighting for a Title at 160. Maybe someone like Martin Murray or Andy Lee or Immanuwel Aleem. But Canelo vs GGG is next month so he can just wait and see what happens. If Canelo wins he will drop that WBC Belt with him and the WBC not getting along right now. That will make room for Charlo vs Jacobs for that WBC Strap which is a GREAT FIGHT! Depends on if Jacobs stays at 160 though!

In a perfect world where there is only one sanctioning body and one champion I would agree with you. But in today's day and age its unnecessary. He left the 154 division as a champion. That automatically puts him in title talk when he went to 160. That and the fact that he passes the eyeball test in terms of talent. But I like that he went about getting his shot by becoming the mandatory opponent. Some guys seem to get their shots only because of their name and/or their ability to talk *****. I.E: Mr."Lets Go Champ" prior to his failure of a drug test. I just hope he fights better opposition than Heiland while he waits for his shot.

If there is no Canelo vs GGG rematch then let Charlo fight the loser. Will make Jacobs and Lemieux madder than all heck.

??? Gets ranked #2 in a division he never fought at over more established boxers like Jacobs. While never being ranked before by the WBC when he was an IBF Champion... Ok whatever we know u love you some Charlo.

There is a difference between loving Charlo (which is what you accused me of) and what I am actually doing which is just looking at things objectively. Its impossible to justify each and every ranking in each and every division in each and every any sanctioning bodies top 15. There are a lot of questionable rankings all over the place. A lot of nobodies who have beaten other nobodies. But you know what. Sometimes top guys are hidden amongst those nobodies who have beaten nobodies and without these sanctioning bodies questionable rankings they would never get a shot.
