        He still isn't that big of a welterweight, look at the body of his.
        He is in good shape, but he hasn't carried the size, by all means, he still is what would be considered as a small welterweight.

            in those 2 pictures, the biggest difference is he has a tan in the second. not much of a difference from what i can tell, but get better photos for comparison.

              Marquez one of the greats in boxing. Pure fundamental style and counterpunching genius. In his prime I'd put him against anyone in his division WW or otherwise.

                Marquez probably would counter the hell out of Keith Thurman considering how telegraph Thurman's punches is.

                    He has been boxing all his life so all his boxing muscles ate fully developed. He is a mature full grown man in his late 20s, not a growing teenager. He isn't going to get any bigger and should stay at 130 or 135 for a big fight. He has no business at welterweight now or ever. Look what happened to good fighters Donaire and Gonzalez when they moved up too many weight classes and fought above their best fighting weight. Marquez isn't a full sized welterweight. He is a lightweight who is about Pacquiao's size. Pacquiao and Marquez have good welterweight wins but 147 isn't their best fighting weight.
