That one is a tie both side were looking out for they're own self interest which hindered the fight.

-Stevenson left HBO for the money ( that's HBO's fault even Duva agreed).
-Kovalev turned down the purse bid because of money( again HBO's fault and his promoter couldn't keep their **** licker shut).

So really penny pinching HBO is the reason.

but we all know if ward pulled that same move all those kovalev defenders will be no where in sight....
