Because Salido hasn't looked good. He has no title. Everyone knows Lomachenko beats him easily. There's better fights for Lomachenko to fight, fights the fans would want to see.

Salido is a pointless fight. The fact that you have to try and defend it by saying "he only has less than 10 fights as a pro" proves that. Lomachenko fans like to throw that around when he is questioned, they like to ignore the hundreds of fights he's had as an amateur when it suits them and also brag about them when it suits them. Ask Bob Arum what his plans are to make as much money as possible. He should make Verdejo vs Lomachenko. Im pretty sure that is his plan. Have Verdejo beat Flanagan for the WBO 135 and then have Loma vs Verdejo.
