Because Salido hasn't looked good. He has no title. Everyone knows Lomachenko beats him easily. There's better fights for Lomachenko to fight, fights the fans would want to see.

Salido is a pointless fight. The fact that you have to try and defend it by saying "he only has less than 10 fights as a pro" proves that. Lomachenko fans like to throw that around when he is questioned, they like to ignore the hundreds of fights he's had as an amateur when it suits them and also brag about them when it suits them. Salido can't help Loma now. The whole point was to use Salido as a stepping stone. Beating him in a rematch only makes Loma #13. Salido will always be #1 in Loma's book.
