I also saw an interview he had after the fight where he stated he wasn't sure if his power moved up with him.

Which was why when a Thread was made of Who wins between Mikey Garcia vs Danny Garcia, I said at 140, I got Mikey winning all day, but at 147 that's where many questions linger. And while M Garcia is more talented than D Garcia, weight difference and punches at 147 are a big difference.

If Mikey ever decides to test 147, the Garcia battle is as an intriguing match that can be made for Mikey.

Always the million $$ question with fighters... which weight is best at this particular time, does the punching power move up with him, is he able to handle the incoming at the higher weight etc etc. I think he did good vs a guy who fought close to 2 divisions higher than him in weight, and who has a reasonably solid chin. IMO, this one fight isn't a barometer of how things will go in that division. Maybe give it 1 or 2 more fights, then decide. Just my 37 cents worth.

How is that hating by him defeating a 3 to 1 underdog? He did what he was supposed to do. Broner was obviously a compromised, vulnerable cherry pick; Who no one gave a legitimate chance of winning outside of his hardcore fans who was picking him with their hearts and not their heads.

I was only stating the facts. Each time Maidana touched Broner he hurt him and they were not from flush clean shots either. On the other hand, Mikey threw over 800 punches and didn't even come remotely close to hurting or stopping Broner. That's all you to need to know about his punching power at 140.

Moreover, having your best victory coming against a washed up and shot fighter; Who was initially a 5 to 1 underdog is not only sad but is beyond pathetic.
