Even though Ali is the bigger name most people around the world still know the name Michael Jordan.

Regarding who's greater. I'd say Michael Jordan was a better basketball player than Ali was a boxer.

Ali is the greatest of all time...theres no debate.

People can make the case that Lebron will be better or on par with Jordan.

      that doesnt happen with Ali.

        boxing is tougher than basketball

        so Ali.

dont need this study to prove that and it is dated and probably flawed but it lists boxing as the toughest sport

There's always going to be a debate. Many people do not agree that Ali was the greatest HW boxer.

            Ali > Jordan

Ali is in the history books, his popularity transcended sports. Ali was more than just an athlete. Outside of sports fans and shoe enthusiasts, no one cares about Jordan. People who never watched boxing or sports know who Muhammad Ali is.

As big as Jordan is in the U.S., we can argue that even Tyson has more popularity than Jordan worldwide.

MJ was a better ball player than Ali as a boxer as someone said before. Ali is greater though as he transcended his sports more and was a civil rights spokeperson in a sense. MJ is a sell out of the highest order,a creep, and a d-bag.

Studies like that dont make any sense. To reach the highest level in any sport is extremely tough. In many cases it's easier to make it in boxing than in some other sports, like tennis for example.

Jordan, as great as he is, threw a ball through a hoop. Ali beat grown ass men and world champions. Ali is the greatest for a reason
