Does anyone know what was wrong with Heiland's leg/knee?

Eh, thats what those hater types do. They can hate on anyone's W. Klitschko was too old. Brook had got destroyed by GGG so was easy work. Porter ain't sh^t. Postol was always garbage. Its par for the course with those guys.
That said this one is easy pickins for them, but for us guys being reasonable about the whole thing the reality is all a guy can do is go out there & fight whatever version of his opponent showed up & so far Charlo has been perfect in winning those fights & I suspect he'll give a good account of himself whoever he fights at 160 win or lose in the future.Comment

I didn't know he was limping at the weigh in. If that's the case it is a shame for sure. That def sheds light on the fact that it didn't happen fight night. Good infoWBC and the commission have a lot of questions to answer. This bum should of never been ranked in the first place and folks need to keep asking the WBC how a guy who's last 2 opponents each had 18 losses. Over the last 3 years 4 of his 6 opponents had 13 or more losses. Hes nowhere on any of the credible top 10 middleweight rankings but mysteriously he is number 1 ranked by WBC over world ranked fighters. Mandated to fight for a eliminator against a guy whos never fought at 160 and held no WBC belt at 154. Somebody was paid off for those rankings it's that simple. The fact that heiland was also injured before the fight and still sanctioned is serious problem. the weighin with him limping prove it as well as the fact he had a wrap over the bum knee and was told to remove it before the fight.Comment

agreed. I'm not a big fan of Jermall but I do believe that he will def make some noise at 160Eh, thats what those hater types do. They can hate on anyone's W. Klitschko was too old. Everyone knows the rankings are bs. Its been a problem since I've been watching boxing.WBC and the commission have a lot of questions to answer. Show me how us fans can actually fix it & I'll sign up for it, but I think its a slow process to making the abc groups obsolete via fans giving less f#cks about rankings & belts due to smelling more & more bs thats working so far as the value of titles hits an all time low year after year like HBO's budget.
Outside of fans minimal impact idk how you can rid the boxing world of corrupt abc groups without someone attacking them with real power (government, someone from the inside, hell wikileaks maybe). So basically this sh^t is what it is for the time being & we'll all be 10, 20, 30 years older or dead before the status quo changes outside of something big going against them.Comment

Yeah he was stumbling and limping at the weighin. How the phuk you allowed to fight when you need help walking up the steps to the weighin. SMH

Just watched that & yea I can see him favoring that leg for sure. Idk that I necessarily would have caught that earlier doe. In hindsight you can't miss it.
Idk what exactly the commissions require of boxers to prove they aren't injured before a fight so I honestly can't say they definitely should of caught this, but there are some checks & balances that need to be looked at here by the commission & by the commission at Heiland as a punishment for not disclosing his injury outright when asked about any injuries as I'm sure he was.Comment

He was def overcompensating with his good leg. If Contursi wasn't at the steps he probably would've gone down. So how the hell did he get past his physical? He must've hurt himself pretty close to the fight windowComment
