I think it may be more of a technical issue than a mental one. He has bad positioning. By that I mean he puts himself in a position to block or slip a punch but not in a position to effectively counter. He claims to be a counterpuncher, but Mikey only had to worry about hitting the gloves or missing, counters were few and far between. Plus he doesn't adjust well. He didn't start pressuring Mikey (which was the actual right thing to do) until like the 7th or 8th round when the fight was well out of hand. Same **** with Demarco. People don't remember, but he was LOSING that fight handily until he fought on the inside. I have always said he is a better infighter than outboxer and it proved true yet again. Easiest fight for me to predict this year.

Hi is this generations Zab Judah, He has some of the most explosive combo's and speed yet doesn't put it to use when he needs to. I think the losses have ****ed his mentality up and he's just too cautious now.

He has a problem with weight. He blows up between fights and therefore most training is focused on dropping the weight rather than boxing itself.

He's limited. He's never had good feet and he doesn't know how to build a platform for himself in a fight. His punching technique is good but everything else is poor. If the opponent has a good jab and the ability to manage distance Broner looks helpless. In a long exchange he'll put his shots together, but if timing and deception is a factor he'll be outgunned.

You see guys like Broner in every sport. The flat track bully with a veneer of flash, who looks a different man when he faces someone real.

He is a fat, little black man with no stamina. From a long line of fat, little black men with no stamina.

                      Lacks skills and IQ.

Has talent, speed mostly but it's all flash in the pan all style no substance.

He's a modern day Zab Judah, will beat the decent fighters, sometimes struggle with them and lose when he steps up.
