I still want people to define 'slow' though do you mean handspeed? If so your right...timing of punches and selection? I disagree tbh

He has great head/upper body movement but his static feet still mean he's there to be hit...good body work with some variation will put a stop to that.

In terms of Jacobs, lol I get what you mean but I haven't been coming on this forum long so I can't speak for others but I've always rated him...he's also got excellent amateur pedigree..he's no slouch (even though I did think Golovkin would stop him)

and..... when boxing, Canelo's feet are no more static than Golovkin's..... who needs to plant..... which is why Jacobs gave him fits

having slow feet, and not having a style that necessitates cutting-off-the-ring..... are two completely different things

Not being known for going 12 rounds is different than being unable to effectively compete for 12rd (aka not being a 12rd fighter). GGG tends to beat his opponents inside the distance.....

at 36yo, Golovkin is not known as a 12-round fighter..... so when I said that this will be his most gruelling fight, with a fast pace and lots of those nasty body-shots from Canelo..... I was wondering how his 36yo legs will handle the deep water of the championship rounds?

Canelo will be better/stronger at 160

vs Danny Jacobs, my guess is that

1) letting your hands go vs. a bigger and faster guy who is sticking and moving is tricky af, have you even tried that w/ head gear on? maybe you right tho, it could have been a lack of stamina

in either case GGG was the clear winner in a competitive fight...DJ didn't come to win, he came to survive...you could tell by his reaction after the final bell...

which is why I have stated on many occasions that they have kept Golovkin away from the mover/spoilers

Jacobs fought very-well, that was a close fight..... he needed to be a little more confident/aggressive early because Golovkin takes awhile to settle, which is why guys like Brook had success early..... Canelo will not have that problem

Well that's fair enough you have a great breakdown but am still gonna have to disagree until canelo shows me otherwise in September.

But....Jacobs movement, switching stances, athleticism and power is what gave Golovkin fits...like I said can canelo do those things?

Looking too much into the Jacobs fight is dangerous his style is in no way similar to canelo's which is why September will be a completely different bout.

As for the pro boxers opinions...we can't doubt their knowledge but I'm not going to take everything they say as law when they get things wrong as much as we do.

When you go Clottey, you're essentially throwing the fight. Just like Judah did against Paulie.

Broner didn't do **** because Mikey didn't allow him to, dude. Oh he did try, though, just fell short like the other 2 times he's stepped up in competition....sorry, but Broner lost fair and square
