The rounds canelo won were clear and decisive then there were a handful of rounds that cotto did better but even those were toss ups. If you give all the toss up rounds to cotto simply because he didn't lose as badly as other rounds then you have canelo winning a 8-4 type fight. If you give one or 2 of those close rounds to canelo you get wide scores. Either way cotto problem is he just couldn't connect canelo defense had him missing and looking foolish all night and he refused to stand his ground and go for broke because he didn't want to get knocked out.

After I initially watched the fight I had Canelo winning 8 rounds to 4.

I agree Canelo won, too big, strong for Cotto.

I didn't see it as wide. Opinions vary, I was quite surprised when the Mexican press had Cotto winning or a draw, etc......I did not see that at all. I had it 8 to 4 for Canelo definitely.

For me it was your typical Young Lion vs. Old Lion passing the torch type fight.

I don't want to see a rematch. Canelo would win even easier and likely knock Cotto out this time. A rematch is not good for Cotto's health. Lol

Cotto was best at 140-147. Size difference way too big for him to beat Canelo.

            Yeah size difference was vast.

Canelo had size, strength, youth, etc...all in his favor.

And yet with that Cotto gave a good account of himself.

The fight went pretty much the way I thought it would.

I don't care for a rematch. At this stage of their careers it can only get worse for Cotto.

First off why have you shown punch stat numbers?

Second use your own eyes. Cotton was simply the better fighter.

Canelo doesn't do shlt for 2:15 of a round, lands a couple power shots and ends up winning the round. Pretty much how it goes for him in his fights.

Dude loves compubox. To him it tells all. Unfortunate for him.

He also Thinks Oscar dominated Trinidad because of compubox. Lol

He doesn't know that compubox are just some dudes counting punches and not some super computer.

90% of the forum thinks compubox is actually a computer lol

In reality its a couple of guys, watching on a monitor or in person, who press a button when they think a fighter has landed a punch. In reality, they can be heavily biased in favour of the house fighter which is what leads to some ridiculous "stats".

Oscar did dominate Tito though. You dont need compubox for that.
