Not everyone can be a star

Casual fans have short attention spans and time for just 3 or 4 fighters at a time.

Its why pbc failed. Going in they had the premise that they could make everyone a star on network TV then go back to showtime with a bunch of high profile boxers that got great ratings and nothing of the sort happened

In america the stars are canelo, PAC, GGG ,

Charlo gotta keep winning and then hope to face canelo or GGG in future . he's also hampered by him being african america . I remember Hopkins said he looked at the demographics of who bought his ppvs and it was Latinos in west coast , not black people from east coast . Floyd was outspoken and beat gatti and delahoya on ppv. Charlo needs the competition. Floyd was in a hot division at welterweight .

A guy like Charlo could dominate MW for years to come. The last 2 years he has improved tremendously and Golovkin has declined in my eyes. If they would have fought 2 years ago Golovkin would have wiped the floor with him but now I would favor Charlo based on what I have seen against Trout and Williams and I just know GGG has to be feeling it at 35 yrs old and not using peds. If Golovkin totally dominates and ko's Canelo I will revise my opinion but i don't see that happening.

From a financial point of view PBC has been good for most of its boxers but the majority are just way too underactive including the Charlos. But no championship level boxers are fighting 4 times a year these days. Fighting every 4-5 months would be great - 5 times in 24 months. The more active they are the shorter the training camps can be.
