Broner looked fine to me.
Will Broner Be Drained With No Punch Resistance Like Oscar vs Pac (2 pounds under)

He looked good to me and he was still sharp and smart with the interviewers before and after the weigh in so that's always a good sign. With Oscar and Morales when they were moving down in weight to fight Pacquiao, you saw at the press conferences that they were extremely dehydrated and kinda out of it.
I think making weight will have no significnt effect on how that fight will play out, now it's just a matter of styles and who's more mentally prepared to constantly change gears during the fight. That will be a tough fight for both guys especially if Broner doesn't get Mikey's respect early with his power advantage.Comment

I have read where he walks around at 156 and as high as 161.

No. He just finally made weight the right way because he had huge financial incentive. He's just lazy and gets fat between fights. He's only 5'6. He made 130 in the past. LOOK at his dad. He probably has horrible eating habits his whole life.Comment

Def more. I think he's about 155-160 rehydrated fight night, to me walk around weight is your weight when not in training, what you weigh most of the time. He's gonna put on 10 pounds of fat easy in between fights so imo, Broner, in between fights, eating whatever, not training is probably a 165-170 pound guyI have read where he walks around at 156 and as high as 161.

It's highly unlikely because the circumstances were entirely different. Remember that De La Hoya was a 35 years old semi-retired boxer at the time. He was not an active and full-time fighter. On the other hand, Broner is a younger, active and fully employed 28 year old boxer who is still in his prime.Comment
