Couple years before my time, but Tackie KOing him has made many highlight reels over the years. Brutal and funny KO. Garcia's head was in the clouds trying to get up from that. Man.

          Solid fighter. World champion.

Corrales destroyed him for his belt.

Good fighter, not great. I would rank him at the level of Jesse James Leija, Malignaggi, John John Molina-even though he lost to him...in that they typically lost once they stepped up to better opposition.

                    Yea I'd go with this.

The main guys he beat, Harold Warren & John John Molina, had some miles on them by the time Robert got to them so they aren't the sexiest W's. But all the guys he lost to were more in their prime although Robert still was competitive with all of them so its not like he took a straight ass wiping to Diego, Tackie or Casamayor. He was in all those fights. And Diego & Casamayor were bad mfers so its no shame to have 2 of your 3 career losses to those guys.

He was in & out fast too. He turned pro at 17. Won 30 fights & a world title by age 23. And retired at 26. For retiring at 26 he had a above average career I feel. Most guys don't even fight for a title before 26.
