Precisely why I'm happy Tim Bradley retired, because I feel as though he was one potentially brutal fight away from becoming Mayweather Sr.

He too has no pop, granite chin, giant ass head that's probably an easy target, and an indomitable will that makes him susceptible to fire fights.

Now that giant head bounces around between his wife's thighs, and that must be enough for him.

Damn, Sho was reading Hajime no Ippo in the dressing room leading up to the fight. Great win!

Not a huge surprise, always thought Shiming was vastly overrated. I remember on the undercard of the Shiming-Ruenroeng fight that he last being much more impressed with the other fighters on the undercard such as Ik Yang than I was with him. Like others have touched on, I thought his gold medal win at London 2012 was a textbook example of Olympic boxing corruption on display, the Thai guy he was fighting hurt him and knocked him down several times and every time it was called as a slip. I always thought that Shiming was a product of money and influence rather than actual talent. It'll be a shame if boxing fails to take off in China as a result of this, though.

It's a fact boxing will fail to take off in China without Shoe Shinning. It was all dependent on him, China's only fighter with a name in like..EVER. That's why they tried so to promote his career at all costs, sucks for them the guy just wasn't good enough.

Say goodbye to boxing shows in China, they'll be back to kung fu now
