Anthony Joshua is a 250lb heavyweight, who flattens everyone he's faced, and has UK and US TV partners both looking to strap the hype rocket to his back.

I'm about as big an Andre Ward fan as anyone here, but Andre is still a light heavyweight boxer-puncher, who had a long layoff and was fighting for a network that was pretty openly trying to set him up for the fighter that they actually were looking to push.

Joshua just isn't the type of fighter who can conquer America. I mean if it happens, he's rematching possibly a 42 year old Wlad. Disgusting. Joshua was lucky Wlad was 41. I don't see it in Joshua. To me he is a ko waiting to happen.

Does Hearn realise no one in US wants to watch PPV with a prospect vs. boring ass Klit?

Showtime appear to disagree with you considering they're investing a lot in Joshua and have been desperate to get him over to the States.

Equally if there was no appeal for Joshua over there then MGM wouldn't have been bidding to host the rematch, especially considering other options were Nigeria and Dubai, both of which would bring in bucket loads of cash just on Joshua's name alone.

Didn't Hearn say he could have done at least 300K if he was promoting Ward/Kovalev? Time for him to put his money where his mouth is, should be the benchmark if hes saying he can do better

They can invest all they want. Interest is one thing, ppv success is another. If i's a ppv fight it will tank. He's not a worldly fighter and beating a 42 year old Wlad in the states won't bring him appeal here in the states. Beating Wilder will.
