You have never boxed before if you don't know this sht...You can't breath or even see with a broken nose. They will try and reset it but even if successful you only have at most 1 round left.

    Your welcome!
Mikey had won all the rounds and had an additional 4 point pocket from all the knockdowns. Garcia could have kept going and cruised to the end of the 12th round but my opinion is they took the opportunity to go to the scorecards then precisely because they knew Mikey was so far ahead and his victory guaranteed and the only way Salido would win was with a KO.

In my opinion Robert Garcia did the same thing a year later with Donaire vs Vetyeka, a fight where Donaire got a bad cut over his eye very early in the fight but fought just long enough so he was up on the cards and put enough rounds in that they could legally go to the scorecards.

To say Mikey quit is unfathomably ******. Not only was he dominating but salido won one round if that and was not coming on Mikey was catching him again in the round his nose got seriously ****ed up. Then the physician stopped the fight justifiably because you cant continue with a nose like that its unfair and it was salidos fault for using his head.

We've seen how Broner fights. Low work rate, and extremely minimal foot movement. Stand still shoulder roll.

                He barely could handle Malignaggi.

That's very true other fighters have had worse injuries and still fought on.

I wouldn't say quit but he sure accepted the easy way out in a heartbeat. Which leads me to believe that when the tough gets going, he isn't the type to dig deep. Salido was starting to come on and the kid found the easy way out.

Say what you will about Broner but he hung in there with Maidana and Porter. Imagine that was Garcia? That dude would had quit on the stool for sure.

It was worth noting that Broner was not winning either of those fights, let's say Broner was somehow winning when Maidana butted him and broke his jaw.... what do you think he would have done??

Garcia did accept the easy way out, even though it was a doctor that said the fight should be halted. My point is the situations are not the same, Broner had no way out against Maidana and he tried but failed to get him DQ'd also.
