Well the subtext to Hearn's offer was that it would take place on a Matchroom show on Sky Sports, and it's obvious that Warren is not going to let one of his key prospects fight on a rival network right now. The fact that his counter offer ignores Burton, who Hearn would much more realistically allow to fight on BT Sport than Buglioni, tells me that he's not serious about making either of these fights though

As an eliminator it would go to purse bids though right?Well the subtext to Hearn's offer was that it would take place on a Matchroom show on Sky Sports, and it's obvious that Warren is not going to let one of his key prospects fight on a rival network right now. Assuming neither would willingly let their man go to enemy territory it should go to bids and Frank would likely win due to beimg flush with BT money and having more reason to keep the fight on his channel.
Just watched a Yarde IFL interview from today and he craps on the Burton fight as if he is way past that level. Mind boggling considering his opposition so far.Comment

Hearn seemed to be making an offer outright. I suspect that whoever loses the purse bid will just withdraw their man, and Burton doesn't really need to fight an eliminator when the rematch is on the agenda regardless
That's disappointing. I've compared him to AJ before but AJ's success is a product of his studious attitude and his team's professionalism as much as it is his actual talent. If Yarde doesn't tick those boxes then he won't reach that level imoComment
