Brook's words. This guy is more delusional than Khan. Khan at least beat more than one top name in his career.
That is true. Whatever we think about Khan, he has done much more than brook.

They're the same size. So you agree canelo's win over cotto does nothing for canelo?

Of course Brook wants to the fight that will make him the most money. At 154, that is without a doubt, Cotto. Even an old, semi-washed up Cotto. And Brook would at least have a chance to win. Lara, Andrade, Charlo, those guys beat Brook all day, every day. And none of them are half the draw Cotto with the Puerto Rican fans are.

What is in it for Cotto though? Brook is still a no-name to casuals in the U.S. He had a chance, he beat Porter for a belt, but then fought cupcakes until he was forced to fight Spence. So he moved up to 160 and got one eye socket broke. Then he finally did fight Spence and got his other eye socket broke. Even if Cotto beats the crap out of him, he will look bad if Brook walks out with both eye sockets intact.

Brook had his chance, and he really shouldn't be complaining, with what he made for his three defenses, against G, and his lions share against Spence, Brook has made a lot more money than a good deal of better fighters with more heart. If he wants another big fight, Khan is his only option.

Well he is damaged goods so Cotto will probably take that fight.

I think they put a steel plate in the left side of his skull after the Golovkin fight. They probably did the same to the right side after Spence smashed it in. A titanium steel-enforced skull may give him confidence. Cotto is faded, yet he's a big enough name to put Brook back on the map and some green in his pocket.

He is coming off two straight KO losses and that is not the way to get a big payday fight with Cotto. Brook needs to wake up and realize this. He needs to try to get back in the winner's circle with a win over a top 10 154 pound boxer before he will get the big fights everybody wants. Right now Cotto has nothing to gain by fighting Brook. If Cotto won most fans would just say he beat a boxer who was already ruined by GGG, Spence and two broken eye sockets. Brook is still a dangerous puncher and now he is a big risk, small reward guy for others to fight.

So the surgeon put metal plates in both his eyes because there was nothing wrong with em?

                Yeah, genius logic right there.

I think what him signing with GBP means is that he's about to be sacrificed to Lemeuix.

Cotto Lemieux please. If Cotto wins then Brook-Cotto.

Although if Lemieux didn't fight Jacobs because he thought he was getting Cotto, maybe we could get Cotto-Brook and Jacobs-Lemieux both in December instead? That would actually be better...

As long as Jacobs, Lemieux, and Cotto are all in 50-50 fights for December, then it's all good. And Brook if he thinks he's ready for that.
