Former two division champion Paulie Malignaggi has continued to work as a sparring partner for UFC superstar Conor McGregor - who makes his professional boxing debut on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. McGregor will face five division champion Floyd Mayweather, who at 40 years old will make his return after two years of retirement.

I always feel like Paulie positions himself to get attention all the time. Whether it was getting that big payday to get busted up by Cotto, or to get in there with Broner.

Obviously scoring commentary with Showtime was the best move for his career. Then there is the next biggest fight in boxing. Of course Paulie wants to be some a part of it so he can be asked questions left and right by the media. I'm just surprised of all to choose from, McGregor went with Paulie...

I give it a day or two before we get Paulie saying that he got dropped or knocked out.

I don't know. I took it as a polite way of saying he doesn't really hit hard.

Leave Paulie alone, he's the best commentator we got hands down. Roy can be a great commentators too but HBO has his volume on low.......

You gotta be kidding. His only chance other than hoping Floyd gets old over night(in which i still thibk floyd would probably outbox him in a closer fight since the skill gap is so huge but ) is landing a lucky punch which that monster knockout power everyone said he had and hoe it lands clean and either hurts ot stops floyd.

The whole thought was "Maybe Conor will be so awkward he'll get lucky and land that 1 punch to hurt Floyd."

Again, if the power isn't even there, Mcgregor is FOOKED
