That don't mean shyt doesn't guarantee he fights either guy. The WBC ain't on the line for Canelo/GGG. If Canelo wins then this paper belt is irrelevant. If GGG wins there is no chance he is fighting Charlo. He will either try to become undisputed champ and grab the last belt WBO that Saunders holds or he will make a mandatory defense of any of the other ABC belts he holds. And that's if he doesn't just jump directly up to 168 vacating the belt. And if the fight in Sept is close there will definitely be a rematch with Canelo/GGG next May before any other fights. Fact is it could be a LONG time if he ever gets a fight with either guy.

Charlo wanted to fight Canelo even if no belt was on the line because he wanted a big fight. There is no bigger fight that could pay him more money other then Canelo/GGG then a fight with Jacobs. So why not go directly into the big fight you say you want rather then fight a bogus eliminator fight for a belt that might be irrelevant and tied up for a long time and brings you no closer to fighting GGG if he wins. Jacbos has the same adviser if he demanded it it's a easy fight to make but the pussy don't want Jacobs or Lara much rather fight bums and not fight anyone he's "friends" with LMAO

first only 1 charlo had a paper belt at that time of the Smith fight and I'm not sure they are bigger names. Say what you want about Smith he has atleast headlined fights and fills arenas in the UK meanwhile the charlos can't even headline a card and can't sell tickets. They are undercard fighters Showtime and Haymon won't even give them their own headliner. Smith was chosen to grab the WBO belt and specifically the number 1 ranking that gives you at 160 leverage against GGG the one belt he doesn't control. What point would it be to grab the IBF belt? That does NOTHING for him at 160 and after the fight he said he was not staying at 154.

Also Golden Boy and Haymon don't work together unless it's a big money fight which Charlo isn't. Charlo was never a viable opponent other then Smith fight all the guys who got the Canelo fight was because they brought more money to the table and are legitimate big draws (Cotto, Khan, Chavez, GGG) neither Charlo is a draw even Showtime will tell you which is why they are undercard fighters. To suggest that either guy was ducked is borderline re tarded. This is prize fighting neither guy brings a prize to the table.

When Canelo fought Kirkland the Charlo sisters were fighting in empty arenas as the pre undercard fights. Fights that were either not televised at all or shown on Showtime Extreme with only 10 people in the arena. To pretend that either were on the level as Kirkland who was a much bigger name, better resume, and headlined numerous big shows shows how bias you are or ignorant. The charlos were irrelevant when Kirkland was chosen as Canelo's opponent. And I bet you were one of the clowns who said Canelo was ducking Kirkland before the fight got made. If Canelo picked and beat either one of those clowns you would of said he's ducking Kirkland by fighting these unknown unproven green charlos. Never mind the fact that Haymon won't even let the Charlo girls fight in house opponents like Lara and Jacobs you think he would of fed them to canelo to destroy their careers before they started?
