I've gotten a refund twice. Full refund for Mayweather-Marquez and a partial refund for Mayweather-Pacquiao. If you have free time and Comcast is your cable provider, you can always go on their online chat and try to talk your way into a credit on your bill.
Can you get a refund on PPV?

What was your reason for asking for a refund on these two fights?Comment

Actually you can. I got a refund for the May vs. maidana and Canelo vs. Chavez Jr. No joke either. If they don't budge tell them you want to talk to a supervisor cause you're gonna cancel your service.
Got refunded. But then again, I've been with Comcast for years.
Also, you can get free showtime for a year. Tell them that Dish has a special and that you're thinking of switching, they'll give it to you. Done it twice already.
They won't budge with HBO doe. Tried and failed... but got credit for three months on my bill.Comment

Lol...I actually work for Optimum cable service. To be honest you can get a credit for a ppv but it depends on the reason and your account history. If you say you were disappointed or left the house, then we'll say hell no you don't get a credit. If you say, service wasn't working properly and you missed half the fight, then yea we kind of have to give you a credit. If the account has a history of ppv credits, then we'll have to escalate the credit request to another dept. If they feel like it's bs, they'll just tell the customer no to the credit. If the customer always asks for ppv credits, they'll just recommend to contact customer service to repair any service issues before ordering a ppv. Once had a guy who was charged like $400 worth of **** and claim the cable box must have malfunctioned. Yea the credit team said hell to the no to his credit request. In the worst cases of continuous su****ious credit requests for service issues, an account will be banned from credits without the call center's vp approval. That usually causes the customer to stop asking for themComment

I once got a refund from cable because the picture was scrambled through most of the telecast. The cable Co. battled me over that.
Once I got a refund from direct tv because I set it to record because I wasn't home and the promoter wouldn't allow it to be recorded. That was a small card and I always could record major ppv's.
lol- I am sure they won't refund you if the show ****** or the fights were bad. They would go broke.Comment
