What sense? Rigo's best win was Donaire 4 years ago, the same guy that Walters knocked out a year later. Loma's best win is making Walters quit. Those 2 wins wash each other out, and Loma's win is actually recent and not ancient history.
If you take Walters/Donaire out of the equation, Loma's resume is vastly superior to Rigondeux, who has 1 other Top10 fighter and absolutely nobody else. Everyone else Rigo fought was not in Top20.

And yeah, neither guy is Mayweather, but to say they're both not popular is ***ing idiotic. It's like saying that Kia Rio is the same as BMW 5 Series because neither one is a Koenigsegg.

    Dude's not getting 50/50.

Rigonduck was planning to price himself out since the beginning of his recent twitter-barking

he didnt have the balls to fight Loma at 126, much less now at 130

hes only using Loma's name for free publicity because nobody gives a **** about him

Rigo will fight bums until the day he retires

            Rigo pricing himself out doe.

            Fanboys.

I don't understand the point of you posting that? Is that somehow supposed to negate Rigo demanding 50/50 when he isn't even worth 60-40?

Also, why do you think I'm a "fanboy"? Have I ever overrated Loma or backed him like you idiots back whoever you like? I've always called it how I see it but I've been impressed with him since beating Walters. Now he is talking about even bigger tests at lightweight...while on the other hand we have Rigo who has no world class names in a long long time.

Rigo was replying to the ridiculous offer of "500k if he wins" with his own ridiculous offer. Why do biased fans not want to recognise that.

I swear the only time fighters "price themselves out" of fights is when they are set to take on one of TR's top guys. This like never happens any other time.

Well lets see ask why? Corrales turned down the Loma fight saying low money and he only made 75k against Castellanos who only made 50k himself. Berchelt made 280k and Miura made 180k. So when Loma team offers 200k-500k thats low balling? Remember Loma took the Sosa fight because Sosa took that offer the Corrales didn't because it was "low money".

A higher profile fight has a bigger gate (and a bigger site fee from HBO) so the opponent wants more than he does for a low profile fight. that makes sense to me. I would want more to fight Loma than if I fought another LW.

There is always a catch in any TR contract any way. My main point is this doesn't seem to happen any other time with any other promoter. It's always TR and its always the dude who has a chance to beat the top TR guy. At some point it can't be a coincidence.

Thats because the coincidence is Loma they might not want to risk it. Speaking of high profile if Bechelt vs Corrales happens in a unification i will be keeping a eye of this high profile purse they will make.
