I saw them as borderline shots, but thats not what makes them legal. What makes them legal is that Weeks deemed them legal. Im sure Weeks saw them as bordeline as well but he gets to make that call.

Well Weeks did see them as legal. Punches that was illegal in the second round became legal in the final round.

I have a newsflash for you. In boxing sometimes a fighter gets hit low, the referee says nope and the fighter has to keep fighting. Its part of the sport. To pretend otherwise is lying.

I would have had no problem with Weeks calling it low and given time to Kovalev to recover. But thats not what happened.

I am well aware of that and that's precisely the point here. Kovalev think that Weeks made a decisive error and hence want the NSAC to look into it Again.

For the record I think Weeks should have taken a point from Ward and given Kovalev the standard 5 minutes to recover.

Question for you. Moments before the straight right Kovalev was caught faking low blows on what was CLEARLY legal shots. Do you think that played a factor in Weeks not giving Kovalev the benefit of the doubt on the last shots?

You are blind and biased, looking the other way because is the fighter you wanted to see win. Dirty tactics and fouls are supposed to be called on anyone regardless of being the fav or being in his home court with the ref of his choosing. Cheating is cheating even if it's your favorite fighter, there are not supposed to get free passes.

Kov should give it up. One of the last blows was low, but he was done and already complaining before that.

He had a gripe against the first decision but he got handed the second time. Move on. Ward is just better.

Kov should've been smarter and at least taken a knee and appealed to the judge then. He left himself open instead of protecting himself at all times.
