So even though he wasn't getting killed in there, he looked like a defeated fighter at that point. At first I thought it was a hasty stoppage but even still, the fight was only going one way at that point, you could see that clearly.
yeah he can apparently be low blowed over and over. wards an innovator

I never ignored the low blows. I said the ref didn't call them so it had no bearing on his decision to stop the fight.

If the ref called the low blows, warned or took a point from Ward, gave Kovalev time to recover you and wouldn't be having this conversation. But he didn't. Something tells me you would still have a problem if the judges saw the fight for Ward.

That's the thing, it is YOUR opinion. The ref disagrees. I agree with Weeks. There was no foul.

Also, even before the stoppage, what was Kovalev doing turning his back to Ward? That's a clear sign a fighter wants to quit.

I don't score fights but I thought Ward won the fight. I thought Kovalev had a good first half (including the KD) but I saw Ward taking coming on strong in the latter half of if the fight. They were atleast one close round in the first half and a few in the second. I also said this was a true fight that couid have gone either way so I never dismissed the people that had it for Kovalev. I did think the people that were dead certain it was Kovalev were being honest with themselves.
            My bad!

I don't make any excuses for the 1st fight. And the 2nd I'm just annoyed it was between TWO P4P Top #5 Boxers on PPV for CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS/ P4P #1 and stopped a lil too early. Robbed Andre of a GREAT TKO or maybe KOv. could come back?? Who knows now...

Going forward I just meant Kovalov can't beat the best on his own with NO real boxing team.

Don't forget Kovalov almost fell threw the ropes in the 1st fight around round 11??? He would of fell on his @ss if it wasn't for the ropes keeping him up.

The crazy thing is they would have no problem if Kovalev won the fight exactly the same way.

kov bendign over in pain had no bearing on his decision? why was he bending over in pain....cause he was low blowed. its like saying we found a dead man that got shot in the head and heres video of someone shooting him in the head. meh he could have died from a heart attack at the same exact time as when he was shot. not murder!
