Randy has never boxed. So how would he know? Conors barely took a punch in he's career. He wobbled vs Diaz. He's getting knocked out.

Yea he's hurtable for sure. And none of the stuff I'm seeing mentioned in this thread even mentions the fact that Conor hasn't seen the 10:01 mark of a fight but 2 times. And his gas tank seems flawed at best. That could very well come into play, & I suspect it will, with this fight not going the distance.

I think it's a bad bet to say Floyd will stop McGregs in the first 6. But a late stoppage is certainly on the table.

Otherwise it's the same as it ever was.

Conor is southpaw, Conor is awkward, Conor has KO power in both hands...

Boxing fans have already seen this whole thing play out before.

The only difference here is they are selling these intangibles to MMA fans and casual sports fans who just haven't seen enough Mayweather fights to understand what this whole thing really is.

The things I wonder about and might actually bet on are:

Does Floyd get a stoppage win or not?

Does the PPV break the Mayweather/Pacquiao record?

If not, then at least he can secure a TKO by way of retirement. All Mayweather has to do in this bout is use his jab.

If Floyd lands enough jabs in this bout, it will probably wear McGregor down to the point of submission. I say this because he is not conditioned to take stiff punches like that to the face.

If Mayweather consistently uses the jab he could easily break Conor's body down to the point of his back stiffening up on him and thereby forcing a TKO.

after a couple rounds of getting schooled and countered silly, McGregor will stop trying and fight to last the distance, maybe ocasionally trying to land a hail mary here and there and failing miserably.

Floyd won't press for the KO because he'd need to take risks, and he doesn't have the balls to do it, even against an outmatched or totally gassed opponent (points at Marquez or Cotto's fights)
