Comments Thread For: Randy Couture: Mayweather Will NOT Knock McGregor Out

Back in August of 2010, the worlds of boxing and mixed martial arts came together when former three division world champion James 'Lights Out' Toney crossed over to the UFC for an MMA showdown with one of their legends, Randy Couture. Before a packed crowd at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, Couture easily took down Toney and made him submit in the opening round.

What the **** is this bull**** i keep seeing about Mcgregor throwing shots Mayweather isnt used to seeing?

The fights ive seen Mcgregor he is basically a normal, basic southpaw as far as punching goes.

          Hardly Manny Pacquiao is he?

Floyd's days of knocking anyone out are long gone and Conner won't be any different despite whatever level of boxing he is capable of. He'll lose by being out-boxed.

Been thinking the same thing. He's not Manny or Maidana in terms of awkwardness. His hand speed seems good and he has some power but nothing about his punches are particularly unique. In my opinion he telegraphs them; sort of loads up when he throws them. And all head shots. Don't see him doing something Floyd's never seen.

                Exactly.

Pacquaio is way more uncoventional and awkward and uses angles in comparison to McGregor who I don't even see as awkward I just see him as poor. From a Boxing perspective.

It's Floyd Mayweather right, 12 round Unanimous decision, write it down. Have you ever seen anything else?
