I know this sounds weird coming from me but I 'm not so sure that JLC will win!

Easily? Sure he looked very good over the first half of that fight against a very passive Joel Casamayor but Diego struggled down the stretch surviving a knockdown and barely hanging on to win.

I know people/experts who gave Joel the fight therefore there was nothing easy about the fight.

Diego is not a boxer-people think because he is 6 feet and has a good reach that all he has to do is box-thats not the case. (Roberto Garcia, Floyd, Acelino-they all boxed his ass off-he is puncher)

However brawling/punching which is Diego preferrred method of fighting just doesnt work against a guy that is part machine like Castillo.

Diego either needs to fight super close where you cant stick a piece of paper between them or he needs to do some running, some jabbing, jump in and brawl a bit...he really needs to mix it up and be very unpredictable doing it because if Diego stays on the outside for periods of time and thinks he is going to fight a fight he is not that comfortable fighting he will be knockdown....multiple times.

The second fight...everyone was picking Corrales-even after the weigh in most were picking Diego by KO...this fight is exactly the opposite which as a Castillo fan bothers me but should it really?

I trust JL is a true pros pro and he is overlooking no one especially Diego Chico Corrales...should be a great fight where I can see Diego leading on the cards mixing things up a bit for 4 or 5 rounds but facts are facts and he is not a boxer(like many try and claim) and ultimately he will be lured into the REAL Corrales vs. Castillo 3...and then he is ****ed.

    Castillo by 10th round stoppage!

If Corrales and CAstillo get in a jabbing war the man with the better jab will win...Castillo has the better jab!

This maybe a Castillo fan talking but facts are facts...watch tape of these two-its not even close.

i want u to do something for me, if u have castillo carrales 1 on ur comp. Go to the very beggining of round 7. For nearly an entire minute, carrales fights on the outside. the longest stretch of outside fighting in probably the entire fight.

Castillo might have landed 4 or 5 punches, to carrales like 20. It was amazing how well Carrales worked the outside with his jabs and hooks.

This is proof, that whether you want to see an inside fight or an outside fight, ur still gonna see a war. But if its an outside fight, carrales is simply better at outside fighting AGAINST CASTILLO.

Making 135 will weaken JLC. He might be weight drained, and too confident , and therefore underestimate Corrales. If this happens, Corrales will win. Corrales seems to drop his right hand alot. He did it in both of their fights, and If he has not worked on that, he will be feeling many left hooks. But I think Corrales is smarter than that, he may come in with a different plan and succeed. He needs to box more like he used to. He knows how to use angles and jab very well, but as of late, he seems to go hook happy and remains pretty stationary. brawling with a fighter like Castillo will not be a smart idea, as Castillo has the better chin.

My speculation is, if Corrales fights smart, he will win, if he fights inside, he will be KOed again.

Dont worry to much. i think carrales will win too, but everytime ur about to watch ur favorite fighter live, u get nervous and think that they are going to lose. I think Hatton is gonna lose every single fight he fights lol.

Castillo by KO, i think Corrales will taste the canvas again.JLC is the stronger fighter and he will prove it again.

Watch the second fight...Castillo uses his jab all four rounds...and uses it very well.

Watch the first fight...when Chico was eventually floored by the left hook in the 10th it was not done so inside...it was done so at a distance.

Flip back to the second fight...the half left half upper cut that sent Chico to Mars was done so not quite inside and not quite from the outside...just perfectly thrown in the middle.

Mixing it up will be key for Diego...like you said in the first fight...Chico will need to switch things up periodically thru the fight(they can brawl for a round but then Chico needs to invent another way to win a round and then after he does that invent yet another way)...if he thinks he is going to fight the enitre fight at distance...it wont happen...

Why was Oscar so good against Mayorga...cuz he never had to use his legs...why was he dead tired against Shane and Tito...cuz he had to use his legs....same for Freitas against Diego.

Now if you think your gonna ask Chico a born stalker/animal to use his legs for 12 rounds I got news for you...he will get killed from round 9 on and get stopped.

Mixing it up is the key, the second he starts fighting in a predictable manner weather it be from the outside or the inside in this fight fans opinion he is ****ed.

Dontbe predictable Chico no matter how you choose to fight mix it the **** up-thats your shot.

                  This is shocking...

Before I left this place, all the people that said Corrales will lose are saying the opposite and stopped being so biased.

                  Karma to you all....(machotime...lol)

Everyone thinks that Castillo is going to be weaker from trying to get down to 135.

Joe Goosen said that Corrales is having trouble getting down also. if this is the case Corrales wont have the strength this time around.

Castillo won't have trouble getting down this time.

I am hoping for a great fight, in the relm of the first. But if Corrales is having trouble getting to 135. It could spell a short night.
