People who say that Mayweather was the greatest fighter of this generation. Compare Pacquiao's opponents to Mayweather's. Pacquiao beat a slew of hall of fame boxers when they were still in their primes. Mayweather sure didn't.

Common opponents actually say PAC was better.
Cotto picked the shop worn pac to beat and ko floyd and said floyd ducked pac all those years as he knew hed get koed by pac. Jmm said PAC was best of era. Jmm might have said Floyd was trickier. But trickier doiesnt mean better obviously.

Let's ignore the fact Floyd cheatedcscales with jmm, PAC has 3 wins over jmm if not scoirecard error. Meaning pacs resume is a level at least above Floyd's if your being mean to PAC. If your being fair to PAC, poac is at least 2 levels above Floyd resume wise

That leaves hatton and SSM. SSM nearly koed Floyd. And hatton was koed in 2. PAC could still make 135 if he wanted to. Floyd couldn't make 144 against jmm.

You do the maths who is greater.

1970s: Roberto Duran – Virtually untouchable as a lightweight. Runner up: Carlos Monzon.
1980s: Ray Leonard: His victories over Duran, Hearns and Hagler were epic. Runner up: Julio Cesar Chavez.
1990s: Roy Jones Jr. – At his best, he inspired awe. Runner up: Pernell Whitaker.
2000s: Manny Pacquiao – Sorry Floyd but you need to fight the best to be the best. Runner up: Floyd Mayweather.

You're list is generally pretty sh'it. You clearly just some "armchair expert"

Benny Leonard had a glass chin. He was the type that looked great against bums but would look average against anyone even remotely competent.

The coward was also a weight cheat who liked sucker punching downed opponents.

          Cassius Clay was a fraud.

Roid Jones had a glass chin and ducked the tough fights to fight bums instead.

          I could go on...

He was never the true pfp best fighter in the world or best fighter of the decade. He was just more loved than the true dwarfing Floyd Mayweather. God saw fit to see Floyd win all of his fights while Pac was ktfo 3 times.
