That's funny. Jacobs was moving backwards 90% the time and did less damage in 12 than what Brook did in 5. Jacobs success was more about what GGG was unable to do.

Right! Jacobs launched himself toward GGG a bunch of times trying to use his size to mess GGG up, but ggg handled that and power jabbed him to death.

I think that's harsh. Charlo is fighting that guy for the right to be a mandatory opponent. I don't have a problem with that. Sure, Heiland should be easy work for Charlo but once Charlo wins he's in a position where whomever wins between GGG and Canelo have to fight him with a certain amount of time. If they don't they give up the belt. Guys like him who don't have the popularity to force the issue have to leverage their status as mandatory opponents to get opportunities they otherwise wouldn't get.

canelo wont do nearly as well. i dont know why people dont recognise the size difference. ggg bigger stronger and more powerful. jacobs has success being rangy and defensive canelo is opposite of rangy and defensive, hes gonna be in teh firing line and you just cant outtrade golovkin, even the haters have got to say his chin and power are world class. fights going to be FAR more one sided than expected, hes tailor made for golovkin.

If you're shorter with cement feet, you stand ZERO chance against ggg.

Canelo is not a great boxer. GGG is. Watch the lemieux and jacobs fight. He took them both to school and out jabbed jacobs 3-1. Canelo can't outbox ggg.

You can't find much clips of jacobs landing clean shots against ggg. You know why? It dosen't exist. Jacobs face was getting with the jab all night long and he was backing up fighting to survive.
