I also cannot fathom why Floyd is not a 25 to 1 favorite? 5 to 1 seems way to close.

It's because lots of bets are coming in on Conor. If Conor wins, Vegas would have a huge liability, so they increase his odds - to reduce the potential liability.

That makes sense. I suppose there is a methodology to betting on Connor if you are not overly bothered that you are probably wasting your money. I would assume that most hardcore mma fans are betting on him and probably people who think that 5 to 1 is too sweet a deal to pass up (in case he pulls it off). Anyways, thanks for the response. Makes more sense now. Peace.

Good read as always. I would put Chavez Jr. Up there as well as having a SOLID chin. Sure he quit before but he took everything Canelo and Sergio threw at him and barely flinched.

For me, the best chin in heavyweight history, perhaps in boxing history, belonged to Oliver McCall. He was never dropped in 73 fights and took some huge punches along the way, including from big hitters like Lennox Lewis and Frank Bruno. I only once saw him wobbled (momentarily) and that was after absorbing a huge right flush on the chin by Lewis.

jr's probably not there because the others took the punches and continued fighting and jr took the punches didn't flinch but they did scare him from letting his hands go

Floyd is broke and needs money. coWard will duck Stevenson unless the ref and judges are on the payroll again.
