Yep. By far the worst decision his team ever made. Elsewhere I see a few comments about how the bought-and-paid-for skroo-up lost control of the Ortiz/Floydie fight... but the worst thing is how he'd obviously been a ref a rich fighter could put in his pocket. And Bayless is his successor. The CONCEPT is good, they just got the wrong guy to do it with. Cortez missed so many calls thru the years it was ridiculous. He's clueless.

Hey Yoda you could at least offer an explanation on how that make me clueless. I think having a boxing ref in your camp to learn some nuances about the game is a good move for an inexperienced boxer. Since you have a different opinion, explain it, rather than name-calling like a ****head.Comment

Sorry friend, thought everyone knew Cortez is a skrro-up, bought-and-paid-for idiot. He certainly broke apart Floydie/Hatton any time Hatton got close. Same thing with Khan/Maidana any time Maidana got close. And the pathetic missed call on the Ortiz/Floydie debacle. The list is long, pal. Like I've said elsewhere, the CONCEPT is good, they just hired the absolute WORST person to do it with.Hey Yoda you could at least offer an explanation on how that make me clueless.
