Larry Merchant mentioned Floyd had trouble against southpaws yearssss ago when Floyd was getting ready to fight Corrales, so then every analyst ran with it. But we all know how that fight turned out.

Straight right hands and check hooks are gonna be coming at Conner like lightning bolts. Floyd also throws more body shots against southpaws.

I don't get why "experts" keep saying he has trouble with Southpaws when he is actually more entertaining and more aggressive against southpaws.

The only difference I seen with Mayweather when he fights southpaws is he stays in the pocket more. It makes sense because a lead right is a the main weapon and you dont want to reach. Personally I hear all this awkwardness of Conor and what not but I think this will be a VERY fundamental fight for Floyd. Floyd will Jab to the body, lead with a 2, and counter with a 3-2. Floyd wont even have to open up his whole arsenal although I think Conor will be open to uppercuts too...
