Floyd having a southpaw weakness is a total myth. People see the fact he has got the shoulder roll technique nailed, and pair that with the fact it doesn't work vs left handers ... well it's not exactly a news flash to anyone who knows what they are looking at that Floyd doesn't JUST use the shoulder roll is it? He has other tools, other approaches.

Plus, lot of casuals hopping on the Floyd vs southpaw myth seem to miss the fact that Manny Pacquiao is a southpaw and is lightyears ahead of Mcgregor in boxing. Mayweather beat him only two fights back. Go figure.

Floyd isn't at any level of disadvantage versus southpaws just because the shoulder roll doesn't work.

Mayweather uses the high guard a lot as well but even the "shoulder roll doesnt work against southpaws" is a complete myth because mayweather has used it effectively some point every single time against southpaws.

I feel you man just addressing the fact that a whole lot of fans tend to rest on the shoulder roll not working and so therefore Floyd can't fight leftys. It's bull**** for sure. People tend to reach for theories of weaknesses when people are as defensively sound as Floyd, when the reality is he hasn't shown many at all
