Who wouldn't be hurt by a good shot straight to the face from a pro boxer. Doesn't mean his chin is weak, it just means he is human...

You are right somewhat, I do agree with you BUT, that punch did not hurt Kovalev for only a few seconds. I think that punch had him backing off for the rest of the fight and it was the beginning of the end. It seemed like the punch made him reluctant to stand and fight with Ward and then the end of the fight came shortly after the punch. Kudos to him for not going down from that but that punch definitely hurt him and he felt it for the remainder of the fight.

ward caught him with as clean as shot on the button you can catch somone and kovalev was pretty much out of the fight by that time and he still handled it well.

-Boone is a bad example, he dropped the top 3 guys in the division ( beating 1)
-Ward hit him with a textbook perfect shot and he took it. Shots like that KO people

That's the Ams anything can happen.
